great escape inn is a lovely boutique hotel. my penthouse had two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a private balcony. just a block from the beach, we enjoyed the pool too! everything is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. the staff in the office were so nice and welcoming. it's perfect for a family weekend getaway.

The kitchen in my room was useful for making quick meals. I appreciated having beach towels and umbrellas available. However, I faced some issues with the early check-in process. I was told the room would be ready, but upon arrival, it wasn't. I had to wait until 3 PM for access, which was frustrating since I arrived at noon. Also, the lack of staff on site made it hard to resolve that quickly. I think it would be better if they communicated more effectively about room availability. Despite these hiccups, I would happily return for another stay.
